If I used my Turntable more (CD player is my main source for music) I would invest in a phono amp. If you have not all ready then you should really think about getting one.

I can see each and every one of your points, I could spend big money on getting this right, but at the end of the day having the actual turntable there right in front of you is all that matters. I know music will sound better with a separate soundstage and better tonearm cartridge but in my eyes that's something to look forward to in the future. I'm going to get the onyx tonearm which al ears said about for now and look at upgrading later on in the year.
