to whathifi,

you say the Cambridge Audio 651c struggles with Dianna Krauls cd, and say the Marantz 6004 sounds better here. You also say the CA351c is agile and dynamic, and you compare it to the cd6004. Is the 351c therefore better than the 651c in agility terms, and playing subtleties? Would LOVE an early response if possible as i have an offer at Richer Sounds on both of these but offer will only last about a week. I auditioned both (extensively-annoyingly so probably to the staff) and was really struggling to deceide which i preferred. I have dynaudio speakers and a Brio R amp.

Given the choice of the two Cambridge players I would go for the 651C. Overall it's the more capable performer.
