Pioneer PDP-428XD help!!!

Hi all,

Have just taken delivery of a Pioneer PDP-428XD plasma, and am totally astounded by the picture quality!!! However, from searching the net, it appears that the 'straight-out-of-the-box' picture quality can be bettered by playing around with the set-up!

Please could What HiFi, or anyone in the know, tell me the best settings for this brilliant screen, as I cannot find any specific details on the net at all! (I have SkyHD and a PS3 connected to the Pioneer).

Any help with this would be much appreciated!

Do a Google search for 'Pioneer 8G Owners Thread'. It's on another forum that I'm not supposed to mention here (which is fair enough - I'm not complaining). When you find it, look in the very first post and download the text files which will give you the best settings for a variety of sources. They're a great starting point and a very handy resource for any Pioneer owners. Good luck.
