Hi.

Anyone using a Pioneer LX54 Blu Ray to access content on their network?

Scored a free one yesterday with new receiver. Probably not going to use it as my Sony 570 is doing a fine job. But i did want to have a play to properly compare the two for quality as well as features.

It definitely suggests on the website that it can access network content. Doesn't appear to be anything in the menu though (unless i'm being really dopey). Have done the latest firmware update.

It'll be a great player (even better than the s570 when it works) if they ever get the firmware sorted. No youtube, PQLS will work properly eventually (CD play back skips every five minutes). Some lip sync issues with certain films. After the latest firmware update, you can now watch Terminator 2 Cyberdyne edition. Wouldn't even load before. But like I said, when it works, it's sublime.

Many thanks for that.

I'd kinda written it off in my head. But now you've said that, maybe i'll hold off on that opinion.

If you notice a firmware update that fixes the above (or starts to) give a shout on the forums and i'll do likewise.

No problem. I hope it does get fixed with the firmware update as the picture and sound are great.
