Pioneer Kuro 5090H in 3D?

Hello,

Since everybody now is releasing 3D products and 3D upgrades for existing products (see PS3 and optoma projectors) I was woondering if there is any chance for a 3D firmware upgrade for Kuro plasmas.

Anybody knows anything?

I very much doubt it - there's a ton of processing involved behind 3D displays, so it's not a simple software fix. The PS3 - and certain projectors - use far more powerful processing than the average flatscreen, even something as impressive as the Kuro.

Plus, of course, Pioneer are out of the TV business.....

Thanks for the answer. I know they are out of TV business but they have support and they have
released firmware updates a few times.
