I have on order a 50" KRP-500A screen and was considering if it would be worth upgrading the Pioneer system cable (non HDMI) that connects the media box to the screen with an upgrade cable ?

I was thinking of something like the cable that Wireworld offers as an upgrade to the Pioneer cable, that they call "Ultraviolet Display Port cable". I will only need 2 - 3 metres.

(My 5.1 system comprises of : Denon DVD 2500BT, Yamamha RXV-3900, Tannoy Revolution Signature speakers )

Any thoughts / opinions please ? Thanks

I wasn't even aware there was 3rd party options for that cable...!

To be honest, my gut reaction, is I kind of trust Pioneer to get the best possible signal from their media box to the panel....If I personally was to buy another cable, it would the 10m option from Pioneer, just so I have it in case of future need....

I'm getting the Pioneer 10m cable because I'm remotely locating my media box but personally speaking I'd be sticking with Pioneer, they aren't going to skimp on this part of the TV.
