Pioneer DCS 363 - home cinema system

Hi, i'm new to all this, so please be gentle![🙂]

I have a pioneer DCS 363, and i'd like to use the USB to start watch movies. Does anyone know if this is possible and has anyone actual done it. I have a 500GB hard drive with loads of avi files, which i'd love to watch through the system - any ideas anyone???

Afraid not - page 23 of the DCS 363 manual states "It is not possible to play DivX files through the USB terminal" (in the footnote section, point 1).

Seems the USB port is only for playing music and photos.

The Pioneer only plays audio files through its USB input, not video.

Thanks guys - that's a shame - does anyone have any recommendations on a media player as a go betwenn - i've heard the WD TV mini is good / cheap buy?
