Picture settings mind of their own!

Hi Guys

Samsung 52" lcd LE52A558, I set picture mode to movie or soft and adjust brightness,contrast etc and can watch the film or game then after say 10 mins the screen flicks back to dynamic mode on its own and loses my changes???

Is there not a button you ned to press to 'apply' the changes (usually an 'OK' button or suchlike)

I have a few Samsung sets in my house and none of them do this, so it may be a fault with your set.

When you back and re-select MOVIE are the settings for contrast etc at the levels you selected or back to the factory defaults?

Timing is random but roughly 10 minutes or so

Im pressing the Enter key on the remote and exiting correctly.

If I re enter the menu it is on what I set it to...its just that it forgets it after awhile and defaults back to Dynamic.

Screen was purchased in the UK but we are now in NZ, will Samsung still cover this here ?

Did you ever get this sorted? I also have the same problem with a 19" LCD I have. Has anybody else come across this?
