Philips MCi900- Is it worth £1000???

I'm quite intrigued by the new Philips MCi900 which is more expensive than a Sonos system & can cover only 1 zone. But it looks gorgeous & initial reviews online have been very positive. Anyone heard it? Are WHF planning to review it?

Interesting and i quite like the 'alien eye type' tweeter. I wonder if its adjustable for listening positions.

Those speakers remind me of a top loading washer my nan used to have!

The main design feature of these speakers is mounting the 1-inch tweeter on a solid aluminium arm. Apart from aesthetic value, by freeing the driver from the main enclosure, Philips says, the speaker is also freed from the effects of any standing waves and vibration in the main body; and the positioning also improves projection.
