This seems to tick all the boxes for me but sorry, another daft question ,( you can tell i am so struggling on which TV to buy.)

Your review says excellent freeview picture but the spec says it does not have an integrated freesat tuner.

Confused I am.

I am looking for a 32-37 " TV (probably 32)

Full HD

1080

100hz

Freesat

Excellent Sound.

Is this the one for me ??

Can you recommend a 32" to go against the 37"

Thanks again , and I'll leave you all in peace.

Finding all them on one tv is difficult, but you have a few choices the Sony KDL 32W5810, and the Sony 37W5810. Panasonic do a few in the V and G range, not sure if its 37"and bigger. I would go both Centres and have look for yourself, this will also decide the right size for you. Ideally if you can stretch to the 37" or bigger the better the gain for HD content. Don't expect very good sound, so a budget surround sound system will lift it. Options here are soundbars with rear speakers and sub, just soundbars and soundbars which fit on to the back of tvs. All in one boxes from most leading companies, but be aware not many connections making further upgrades impossible. The Onkyo 22hd system is good value coming with or without rears which can be added later on, connects to all blu-ray players for full hd sound. Then of course seperate components to a acheive surround sound. You will need amp, speakers and connecting cables and wires, maybe wallbrackets and speaker stands, can be expensive but there are some great budget speakers and amps which work very well in smaller rooms. Hope this helps, when you really decide what to go for comeback again and well all give you some more advice.Cheers

Hi Grumble02

Just to clarify, Freeview and Freesat are two different things. Freeview is standard-definition digital TV delivered through a normal rooftop aerial, while for Freesat (which includes some HD channels) you'll need a satellite dish.

You can find a list of all the Freesat-equipped TVs we've tested here. Hope that helps.

I've just gone for a Panasonic 32" G10 (with Freesat); a 37" is also available.

I'm now looking for a Soundbar in the next 3 months (Panasonic have just launched one in the US; Orbitsound T12 looks interesting; Yamaha would probably be safest).

Hope this helps.

Take a look at the Yamaha YSP-4100, tested in the Feb 2010 issue on sale now. It produces a fantastic spread of sound effects and has HD audio decoding.
