Panasonic TX - P42PG10 Settings

I've finally got my 42G10 set up today, mounted on the wall.

Could someone help me with the best picture settings please?!

Will be watching TV via Freesat (I only have a Freesat connection), and watching Blu Ray via PS3

Use cinema setting and get a DVE disc and adjust with that.

apologies, I'm new to all this 1080p stuff.... but what is a DVE disc?

Also the settings you use for blu ray won't be the same for Freesat.I use cinema for BD and normal for Freesat and Sky HD. Do run in your TV for 200hrs(tone down some of the settings).

Digital Video Essentials disc. It helps you to adjust the picture correctly. Costs about £13.

Thanks, I take it you have one aswell?

Could I use a THX certified disc to set it up?

I personally don't find them accurate at all. Trust me use DVE as it will look a lot more accurate than THX. I used DVE on my Panasonic TX-P50G10.
