Panasonic TX-L37DT30B and Wii

Hi,

I have bought a Panasonic TX-L37DT30B and I am generally delighted with it with the SKY+ box (via SCART) and with Blu ray (via HDMI) - but the picture quality with my Wii (via the red yellow white "AV2" connection) is far poorer than my previous tv - a six year old Toshiba.

Any ideas how to improve this??

Your Panasonic is having to upscale images from Wii, which your Toshiba probably didn't have to (if it wasn't an HD TV). Try a Wii to HDMI converter like this.

Thanks for the hint. I am not sure about spending £45 though as the Wii is only for occasional fun - however your advice led me to search google for alternatives and it turns out there are plenty - so I will try a cable from amazon (http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B000NUR582) that will allow me to use component connections - it was only £2.05 so if it isn't great it doesn't matter much!
