Panasonic TH-42PX80B Vs. LG 42PG6000

i cant decide between these two both costing about the same amount simalir spec and ratings, Lg think is newer, looking better and better contrast at 30,000;1 Vs. 1500;1 of the panasonic, thou it is 1080i . Also the LG has better sound spce as well most of the other spec vs the panasonic ,however i been lead to believe are the 2nd best at making plasmas, and this might mean more than higher spec of the LG? p.s i plan to use it with the sony dav-is 10.... any advice will be of great help took me about 1 month to get down to these two. Check out the reviews of both on this site. PX80 is best buy 42"

I'd go with the Pana.... Tech-specs are one thing; performance another.
