Panasonic SCBTT755 Faulty Power Supply Board

Hi all

The power supply on my Blu-Ray recently stopped working giving a code 76. I took it back to Hughes Audio for repair but they cannot source the part from Panasonic. I would like to buy a replacement board or have the orginal repaired as I believe it might just be one of the capacitors that has blown. Any advice would be great,

The Electrolytic capacitor is available from AZTRONCS in Adelaide (google it) although they ordered the part in from Sydney! The part is a couple of mm taller than the original but still fits without any problem. The part cost $10. A little more if they post it to you. Any tech should have no problem with the repair at a reasonable price. I am a retired tech and a guestimate would be less than $100.

You could attempt it yourself but not advisible if you do not have any electronics training. Hope this helps
