Hi Guys

After having the above TV replaced i now have smooth images when watching Blu Ray (no Judder)

When i watch golf on Sky the background normally trees judder on camera panning shots and go in and out of focus which is a little disturbing on occasions, is this a limitation of my TV or poor signal from SKY it is also noticable on SKY HD

Any one help

Regards

I uesd to some times notice this when I had Sky+, where on certain panning shots especially if the back ground was a bright white, that trees etc would judder almost giving effect where the trees went pixelated but since going over to the HD box I have not noticed it at all.

Its normal, PZ80 doesnt have motion interpolation like 85, so it depends on signal.

I understand the IFC is only relevant with 24FPS material via Blu Ray and has no effect with SD signal, most people say it does not improve things anyway

Wrong information... IFC works with every video source, and results are stunning. Its worth every penny: super smooth moving and camera panning, 0 artefacts. IFC is one of the best motion compensation on the market.

Going to have to look at the IFC as i've heard more negative than positive comments, many say it creates more judder than it solves and 90% of comments from owners on here switch it off, suppose its personal preference when all said and done

Well, donno for that, but I am really happy with it. I tried to watch FullHD soccer without it, and judder was unbearable. Once U get used to it, its impossible to watch anything without it. True, I didnt try BR 24 FPS (I have FullHD IPTV here in Croatia, didnt buy BR player yet), but everything else works lovely. Zero artefacts, absolutly smooth motion and camera panning... Taht goes for SD TV, DVD, HDTV... Why would anyone want to turn it off?

For comparison, I also have Philips CRT with pixel plus, and Panny is better - Philips have problems with artefacts in quick motion scenes.

Only problem i noticed, is with soccer: high altitude kicks makes ball judder, I suppose because ball is hard to recognize against lots of peoples head (public).
