Pana G15 purchase time - best Plasma for the money?

Guys

Been chasing this one since it was announced and now looks like plenty of availability and the price has levelled at £1200 (found for £1169). Question is given I am not interested in Freesat (will get SKY HD) & although Veria cast sounds good I can't imagine the quality being that great so perhaps a short term gimmick. What really matters to me is picture quality (SKY mainly through SD & HD normal evening tele) & looks, so is the best plasma for the money against this criteria? Pioneer Kuro was the undouted king for so long but a bit pricey & concern that company looks to be winding up.

What do you reckon? (LCD seems inferior from an overall picture perspective so the lastest Sony is probably a no no)

At that price I would also look at the Samsung PS50B650 price around £1000 if your looking at Plasmas

G10 is the same PQ as the G15 and is cheaper (doesnt have Viera Cast, which you werent fussed about), available in 46" and 50".

Thanks guys - yes the Samsung looks nice but 50" just too big for my room, geeting enough heat from the lady going for a 46! Assume they don't do a 46" variant. Solid counsel of the G10 & could use the money differential for decent sound system (G15 comes with enhanced sound)
