your opinions are most welcome. my choices are.....
pana 42G10 799 pros: freesat cons
lder model £799
samsung 40B7000/8000 pros: great looking tv, great pictures cons:no freesat (curious why 8000 model had slight picture issues the 7000 didn't) £1149
sony z5800 pros: freesat, early reviews cons: yet to see it, sony clouding issues £1299
philips 9664 pros: best looking tv, great picture cons: no freesat, ambilight ? £1499
I can upgrade to sky hd if i want to so freesat is not the be all and end all but do i want to ? also I have had a pana 37px 80 plasma which was great to 1080i and a pana 32lzd85 1080p lcd. both tv's have been great but I have reverted back to what is best lcd or plasma. I feel like pana have dropped back in the pecking order now though they have been great to me to date.
system: sony bdp760, denon 1910. main tv for family and blu ray
