Hi I want to buy a pair of headphones and I'm looking for suggestions. Here are my criteria:

Budget: max 100€, can go up to 150€ if it's really worth it

Source: Laptop, PC, Iphone 4S, Playstation 4

Requirements for isolation: Decent isolation prefferred, but it's not that important.

Preferred type of headphone: Over-ear

Preferred tonal balance: Just balanced good quality, but I do like bass.

Preferred Music: Everything, but not Rock/metal.

Location: Belgium (EU)

I really need a multimedia headphone. Like I'm going to use it for watching movies, listening music and playing games. So compatibility with devices is really important. (PC, PS4, Iphone) Comfort is also really important for me. I have considered these headphones so far: Kingston Hyperx Cloud, Beyerdynamic DT 990 pro 250 ohm. Thoughts about these headphones would be appreciated. Of course I'm open for any new suggestions.

On ear or around ear?

Around ear. I was considering hyperx cloud, because I would have enough money left over to buy a dss2 surround sound processor, which is neat to have for gaming.

So that's why I prefer that the price tag is under 100.

As I recall, if you want a headset for the PS4 you need to check if it works. The best place so far to look is this google doc. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AlZqOp62pcY_dHh5dm5fS3VVaGs5VnNKN0ZFaGhUaHc&usp=sharing#gid=0

Seems to me you'd need to know 2 things for compatibility: The amount of power/signal each device puts out at a given impedance, and what the plug-in jack requirements are. You should be able to find adapter plugs/jacks to meet your needs, so your remaining worry is whether the headphone will play loud enough on all devices. If there are other issues, I don't know.
