Jeez, that thread is 65 pages long! Life is too short but I do agree with the OP's points and sometimes wish I had the technical knowledge to write like that. What annoys me about the endless cable debates that will go on for eternity, is people that say the sceptics have to scientifically prove that expensive cables don't make any difference. I say why should they, it is up to the manufacturers to produce the evidence, not simply say 'try it and see, if you don't hear a difference we''ll refund your money'. The mind is a powerful convincer in this case.

Some excerpts:

a) Avoid contamination of the cable connectors (with fingers, carpet fibers, etc.)
b) The arrows on the cable indicate the direction of signal flow.(Reversing the direction will affect the sonic performance of the system!)
c) Keep interconnects away from potential noise sources, such as speaker cables, power supplies and AC cords.
I guess, the 3rd one takes the crown!
