I have Aperion speakers (5 speaker plus sub setup) that have a rich, beautiful sound. Most of the content we watch is from our Apple TV unit. And I have a Panasonic Plasma TV which still looks fantastic. Is it worth upgrading to a new receiver? I have no plans to add more speakers. What does the latest technology give me?
Onkyo TX-SR607 from 2010. Still has great performance. Should I upgrade?

Nothing much for you at the moment, unless you plan on upgrading your TV to 4K or increasing speaker count.
