Onkyo TX SR 577 AV amplifier loud clicking on changing TV channel

Hi,

New owner of a Onkyo 577 linked to a Samsung 36" TV . Each time I change channel on the TV I get a loud double click coming from the Onkyo unit as the sound comes in. TV is linked via HDMI to the Onkyo.

All help and guidance much appreciated. The clicks are starting to drive me mad. All else works fine.

sounds like it is just changing the sound play back format.

have you told the amp what format to use for the TV input or is it "last Valid"
