Hi!

Onkyo have the following range of I-Pod Docks; DS-A2X, DS-A1X, DS-A2 and DS-A1.

I understand that the difference between those with a 1 and 2 in the product name, is that the the 2's come with a dedicated remote. So if you are using these with say an Onkyo AV amp you don't need the dedicated remote.

Is this correct??

Does anyone know the difference between the docks with a X in the product name?

Cheers,

Womble

Correct. I use an Onkyo DS-A1 dock with my Onkyo CS-515 micro system and can pause/play/skip tracks on the iPod using the main system's remote control. Sorry, don't know what the X stands for.

Quick question Andy - does your DS-A1 support the iPod Nano?
