Onkyo Amps - SR606 or SR875

I am currently looking at purchasing the Onkyo SR606. I have been offered the 'older' SR875 for a similar price. Anyone have an opinion on which is better please ???

Assuming the warranty isn't an issue, the 875 for sure. I would be a little suspicious of anyone selling it for £400 though...

Sorry for leading eveyone up the garden path. When I meant 'similar' price I meant I can get hold of one for around the £550 mark and would be willing to stretch that far if the amp was worth it, over the SR606.

Richer Sounds are doing the 875 brand new for £599 at the minute. Its down to £699 and £100 off for VIP members which is free to join at their site so a bit of a saving to be made!!

looked at their site again and actually used my eyes this time! Am now registered with them.

Silver looks better chris?? Hmmm, debateable that one! Agreed that having to pay 100 quid more for black is a bit sickening.
