When I decided to go from 5.1 to 7.1 I had to sell my B&W M1's and go to in ceilings, on my wifes request, though people who come round don't even notice them, until they get the demo of course.
Now I am going to add 2 new white M1's as the front L & R, my wife did comment "nine speakers in a room this size" she obviously did not take in the fact I was going to take out the surround backs, I might leave them in for any future amp upgrades.
She puts up with alot of equipment changes without too much hassel, does not know I intend splashing out on a full HD projector soon, I will get my M1's in and let the dust settle first I think.
I would be interested to know how the new Onkyo 707 & 807 sound and if you can run height channels as well are surround backs, although I do like the sound / style of the AVR1910.
