Onkyo 606 sound settings

I have been having some trouble with my set up lately. For my HD Sat play back the amp is locked in Direct mode. I can't find this in the menu's to allow me to change this setting. Can anyone let me know how I can change this please..???

Hi

If you are talking about pure audio it should revert to the previous setting by pressing the button on the receiver again failing that......

* To reset the AV receiver to its factory defaults, turn

it on and, while holding down the [VCR/DVR] button, press the [ON/STANDBY] button (see

page 96).

Hi

I have an Onkyo 905 and i have buttons that say Stereo, Pure A & Direct and they are often used for music. On my remote if I press Surround I can change a broadcast into 5.1 using a choice of Dolby, DTS and THX settings. Experiment with your settings and see what you prefer obviously Dolby HD and DTS HD sources should sound incredible.
