Hi folks,

Have 3 tvs with simillar set ups in my parents home.. they use dvb tuner in tv to pick up freeview channels (irish) and a freesat box to pick up uk channels.. They find it a bit cumbersome having to use two remotes.. and the buttons on the freesat remote are little small and fiddly.. (sagem dis86)..

id like to buy a couple of harmony remotes for them.. and set up two activities on each.. 'Watch Sat' and 'Watch Irish TV'

simple activitives.. all they need to do is select different inputs and control the tv or sat etc..

i am looking at the harmony 600 and it seems ideal.. but a little pricey as i need 3 of them.. any cheaper alternatives out there? or anyone know of any amazing deals on the 600?

Cheers,

Mick

How about the Harmony 515, available for £39.99 from Amazon at the moment. I think it can only control 5 things, but if you are only using it for TV + Sat then it will be idea, and cheaper than the 600.

I assume that at any one time 2 tv's are being watched, hence the need for 2 remotes. If however only one set is being watched at a time, you could get the Harmony 555 which can control more than 5 devices.
