I did look at the other forum but a quick search didn't reveal anything. I accept your point though about the level of sensitivity required. You're also right that while I'm engaging in this I'm not enjoying the music. Your sign off says it all.

I honestly didn't mean to be obtuse - it's just if something sounds better to you, then effectively it is better. Do you really need to know why?

Gent's

I am using a Olive 04 HD with Cyrus 8 Qx (and power supply PSX-R) - and to go digital out from the Olive 04HD with outboard DAC does give a noticable improvement in detail and more layered at the same time the sound is more relaxed .

Mind you this was first notacible after a decent Powerblock and P cables :) and for the ones not willing to belief just try and be astouned what it can do ...

Check out CP audio for a top Powerblock and cables - this guy really went the whole 10 Yrd's and his product are owesome , any by way the analog connection was with Fadel Art IC and these are good quality IC's still Atlas Ascent Dig. gave a better performance

Speakers are B&W 805 Diamoind and Cables again Atlas Ascent MK II

Enjoy
