Old School Set Up

Hi all
I have a budget of about £700.
Looking to replace my Onyko tx-sr806 as i bought used and never had a new amp.
Running Mission M73 FRONTS
m72c Centre
M70 rear
only a 5.1 set up

The amps iam looking at are Pioneer vsx-lx53(on offer at £699 or do i look at Onkyo say the nr808.
The sound at the moment is awsome for movies.
Not interested in music through it,use it for SKY HD AND bLUE RAY,XBOX

You should be able to find the Yamaha RX-A2010 for roughly your budget. It's a top class AV receiver/amp which has been discounted by almost 50% because the newer models have recently come out. The new 2020 is essentially the same but with airplay and 4K built in. As you probably won't need 4k for several years (& that's optimistic) and as you can still use apple products with the older models, it's not too much of a problem.
