none of the buttons work on my nad 545 cd player?

None of them, power button, track select etc. It still works with the remote though, any ideas what's wrong?

Sounds like a failure between the control microprocessor and the circuitboard carrying the front-panel buttons to me.

all the buttons seem to be working again now?! strange... i had a listening sesh so perhaps after prolonged use it does it, so will test again when i get a chance to have a good listen.
