Next HD channel on Freesat

Are there any rumours as to what the next HD channel to come to freesat will be and when it might arrive?

NHK World HD, any day now, IIRC.

As Andrew says, NHK World is due to launch this month, though no date has been confirmed yet, but has been testing off EPG for a while now.

If it's rumours you want, Chello Media who own/broadcast the CBS channels on Freesat applied for HD broadcast licenses for CBS Drama HD and CBS Action HD back in december, so it's possible they could be heading to Freesat in the future.

Thanks, do you think that freesat will get channels like the other ITV HD's and Film 4 HD?

No chance for ITV2/3/4 HD, since they've chosen to go paytv with those, Film4 HD is a possibility.
