We have all heard off the z4500, here now comes the z5500! What is the difference? I can't tell, apart from design.

Anyway, it's avaible from http://www.electricshop.com/Televisions/Sony-KDL46Z5500-46-Full-HD-LCD-Television-in-Black/invt/kdl46z5500?source=base&lot=base&utm_source=base for £1500

Thanks :)

There will be a 40-42in Supertest in our October issue, which will include the 'Z5500... Though we've already reviewed the S, E, W and V '5500 models!

You didnt say what you were looking to use the TV for?

Might be a good idea to read other reviews. What hi-fi seem to be out of their depth when it comes to detailed analysis.

If you want to look for game lag specifications for example, look elsewhere. I'm curious to see if the 8bit panel makes much difference compared to last years w4500 and its 10 bit colour

Nice of you to be so kind when using our forums!

We cater for a wide variety of readers, each with a different knowledge base and a different set of interests. To satisfy every one of those readers, in every aspect and in every review we do, would be some job. But we don't half try. And with the website and forums we can, and do, answer individual queries from readers all over the world on a daily basis. For free. Not bad, eh?

By all means use whatever sources of information you may find, but there's no need to be rude now is there...

sebastian was banned last night, not for this thread, but for a past trading transgression which came to light when I started reading back through his posts.

See what happens when you draw attention to yourself...?

Hey Andrew, just one question, if you get banned, can't you just create another account, or does it block you?

I would have thought the site uses something that reconigses your ip adress when you first registered to stop people creating multiple acounts to try and help win competitions, so this should stop banned users re-joining if there is something like this in place.

I don't agree with people being naughty, but can't someone just change their ip?

Yes, and then they go and give themselves away with something they say, and they get banned again for ban-dodging. And so the merry round continues...

Why, were you thinking of getting banned, ajh?

What if they use a proxy server which hides your source ip address ????

Not that I plan on being naughty but I pretty sure they use it at work to stop any undesirables using the information to hack in.

By the way, quick work on the Ban.

;o)

Damn, he's seen the blind listening suits. Send three black Range Rovers down to Stamford Bridge and have him eliminated. NOW!
