I've got a Sky+HD box from Amstrad. Just got an email from Sky saying I'll have the new EPG 'soon', Not holding my breath though, was hoping I'd have it for the European Cup Final last May so I could watch it on ITV HD.
There's usually a quick turnaround once you've had your email/pack in post: my email arrived on the Wednesday and I was up and running with the new planner by the weekend (due to the Royal Mail strike, my postal notification arrived 10 days later!)
If you got your email/snail mail notification today, its likely you'll get the epg in the early hours one day next week( usually either a tuesday or thursday but can vary)
I have an Amstrad HD box and received my black envelope 2 days ago but no email as of yet. I'll just be happy to have ITV HD in time for the world cup to be honest. Their SD picture is awful.

.
ITV westcountry!!!!
It broadcasts at a higher bitrate and resolution than all other ITV regions. You can add it to your Sky box and view it via "other channels" in the same way as you add/view ITV HD. Unless of course you're in the west country region, in which case you're already getting it.

Does it? News to me, although I have to admit I have wondered about some of the complaints coming from people talking about ITV, I've never found the PQ to be that bad, this is probably why.

Surely it's just in the 980+ region of the EPG along with all the BBC regions?

the_lhc:Surely it's just in the 980+ region of the EPG along with all the BBC regions?Well no, becuase you dont get all the regional itv variations listed on the Sky epg like you do for the BBC regions. You just get your region on the 103 slot and one other region(usually itv london) on 993.
Clare Newsome:Sounds worth a try - what channel number is ITV West Country, daveh75?
It doesn't have an EPG slot Clare,unless you're in the west country region(then its on 103 ,obviously).
You need to add it as a channel in the same way you did for ITV HD, in your post here, but using the settings below instead of the ITV HD ones....
Frequency= 10.832 GHz
Polarization= H (horizontal)
Symbol Rate= 22.0
FEC= 5/6
Edit- Just to add......ITV wescountry broadcasts at a resolution of 704x576i with an average bitrate of 5900 kBits/s,where as all the other ITV regions are 544x576i with average bitrates in the region of 2500 -3500 kbits/s
For bitrates/resolution of channels broadcast from Astra 2A.2B and 2D See Here

Yes, I found the box had it this morning (I was out last night and didn't switch it on when I got home, pool team back to winning ways, 11-4, awesome!), had a brief flick about, looks ok, will confuse the hell out of the missus, she's only just figured out the old EPG, so I'll be expecting a phone call whilst I'm on my way home...
