New Samsung led 3d 40 inch 7000 series

Saw one at shop today.infortunately no glasses were available yet.It has a gimmick that turns normal 2D image on 3D.dont know if it will work well though.backlight coming from both botton corners...much pronounced.1800 euros here in portugal...

not a bad price , they are £1800 in the uk , probably be e2300 here in ireland when they appear , the glasses will probably be another e200 , if i won the lotto i wouldnt pay that for a 40in tv , even if it was 4d ...

The man ad attended a Samsung 3D demo yesterday and said the galsses would be around 90 euros.not sure.but backlight inconsistency on both low corners was horrible.never saw ir like taht on the older led models.the 2d-->3D gimick is interesting..
