Hi Guys

Just got my new Onkyo 608 and it's setup ok with all the speakers that i have, just a couple of things a am stuck as the instructions are not that clear, when i went to set up the input lables to what equipment i have i set the bd/dvd to blu ray an hdmi one and when wanted to set hdmi two for my hdd dvd i pressed the sat button on the remote and the amp froze up nothing would work i could not even turn it off, the only way i could do this was to turn it off on the amp itself then with some messing about i found you have to press the receiver button on the remote and that let me carry on with the hdmi lable, what a palarva the instructions were not very clear on that.

One other thing i don't like is the front display in looks a bit cheap conpared to my old Denon 1910 which gave you a lot off info but that just me, the amp sounds good though.

I hope this helps with new Onkyo owners

I would have thought your years on the Enterprise would have made you more familiar with modern technology
