New electronics coming out of China - tube amps / CD players

I made a passing reference to this in a thread on the HiFi Forum ("Does What Hifi Not Love...") but are there any plans to do a piece on what seems to be an electronics revolution going on in China just now? Not the Western established brands using the PRC as a manufacturing, lower cost, base, but those companies following hot on the heels of Eastern Electric, Qinpu, etc who're churning out what seems like some pretty notable gear?

Maybe not a review of specific products, but even a feature article? Might be interesting for audiophiles of all sorts in general. Certainly, there's a stack of such products online, many on Ebay, that look impressive - hopefully some might deliver some decent sonics.

As noted on that other thread, we're perfectly placed to do such a piece in the future, having recently launched What Hi-fi? Sound and Vision China - they'll be reviewing a range of local products as well as carrying our tests of global brands.

I'll let them get settled in a little - they're only on issue no2 - and then see if we can get some translation going on...
