New Cd Player

After a long time away from the HiFi world i have returned and am now updating my ageing system,so far comprising a yamaha DSP-A 761 surround amp and Monitor Audio Br2 front and Br Surround speakers.I am now looking for a suitable CD player to use with these.My current shortlist is Marantz 6002,Cambridge Azur 540/640,Rotel RCD 06 or secondhand Rotel RCD 02,New or secondhand Nad 521Bee or i have found available for £229 a new Arcam 73.

I would welcome recommendations of what to go for from this shortlist,my budget goes to £250.thanks folks.

£230 for the CD73 is a great deal. That's where I'd sink my money..... That's where I did sink my money!

If you can get an Arcam CD73 for that price go for it.

If not it'd be well wirth your while taking a look at the NAD C542 CDP. Very VERY good CDP for the money and available from superfi.co.uk at a very good price as well
