Apologies,not sure what I have done but post should read that I have fallen out with Arcam and am looking at replacing my cd with the Marantz cd6004 to possibly partner the Marantx pm6004 later,any advice welcome,thanks.

Firstly, what Arcam CD player do you have at present? Why have you fallen out with them, and what other kit are you using in your system? Finally, what sort of music do you listen to?

I so VERY nearly got an 8200 but decided to go with a Yamaha CD300/Arcam rDacW into a Yamaha AS500 and love it - USB input on the CD and wireless for the lappy. Hope you can kiss and make up with Arcam though!

I have at the moment the Arcam Alpha 7 cd with the Alpha 8 amp,the reviews for the Marantz sound great but basically what I am asking is the Arcam fmj cd 17 worth the extra £200,if I forgive Arcam for their customer service? Thanks for your replies.
