I've pretty much decided, Icon Audio.

Is the Stereo 60 worth the extra cost over the Stereo 40?

I will be in a small room, 11'5” x 12'8” using my Quad 21L2 speakers

From what I remember, assuming you are after the Mark3 M, there is about £1000 difference between the two. For your room size I would say save money and stick with the 40 ...... and buy some spare Electro Harmonix valves....... and enjoy.

There's whole new world of 'Tube Rolling' awaiting you. eBay (for NOS Tubes) will become your new friend!

Moved into new place a couple of weeks ago. Room is about 11'5”x12'8” but has amazing acoustics! Speakers almost disappear, sound stage is wide, CD's, BD's and TV all sound very good. I get no apparent echoing, bass is about right with no boom which surprised me given the size of the room.
