Hi all,

I need some small speakers for use in the kitchen with (most likely) a Denon m39.

They need to be small as space is limited - does anyone own a set of 2010i's?

I have two questions if I may?

* How position fussy are they? I am hoping to pop them on a window sill - is this a silly idea?

* to aid this, I am keen to find out how far back from the front of the speaker the little feet pads are..... the speakers are 20cm deep but the shelf is 16cm - thats my problem.

Cheers all :)

I have a pair of 2010i speakers in the kitchen, mounted on Q Acoustic's own wall mounts. I've had a look and assuming the felt pads are located in the same position as the Allen bolts for the base cover, they are 17cm from the back.

I have found them to be a great small speaker and very forgiving to location.

Thanks for replying.

I have had a change of plan regarding possible placement location - now thinking in the corner at either end of the kitchen worktop (using the foam plugs and possibly tone levels to combat any unwelcome bass issues)

Should look quite tidy - just its going to take a fair bit of speaker cable to get them there! Something Like 5m/8m - which is more than I had initially hoped for.
