Need help identifying this amplifier

This was used with a Dynaco PAS3 pre-amp and a Fisher KM60 tuner (tube).

Certainly been tarted up. Looks also like the transformer has been removed from its original location ,note the fixing brackets.

Hmm , needle haystack.
 
I'm in US - this was installed in a custom adapted TV console cabinet hidden from view - it never had it's own enclosure.

Ah I was on the right track then. If it was in a custom adapted console then its either.

A. As Chebby said a Home made jobbie. Or B. Dismantled from something else.

Good luck in your quest jimman but I think its going to be a very long journey.
 
Maybe something like a Hafler.

Right sort of vintage and often used in combination with Dynaco, available as a kit so you could by the componebts and build your own case work.

Those were the days........ :dance:
 
Might even be an early solid state Dynaco, they were available as kits too., I assume that PAS3 is valve?
