I moved house last year and the reception to my Sony TV is pretty poor - especially channel 5. The aerial on the house looks pretty old an tatty compared to others in the street so I started to price up a replacement. Then I read about the 'pay once, watch forever' sky package at £75. You get a dish installed which has all the terrestrial channels and a few extras. I'm not really bothered about the film and sport packages but this seems to be a much cheaper way to get ordinary channels than paying £100s to have a new aerial erected. Am I missing something or is this really a good solution to my needs?

Well the Sky Freesat service seems to cost £150 here, but it would solve your TV aerial and radio requirements pretty well.

And as you say, at £75 here, it looks like a bit of a no-brainer.

Hello mjw999

I've been looking into the 'pay once watch forever' sky package at £75 from dixons.

Can i ask you who installed your satellite dish for you? was it sky or the shop where you bought the package from?

King regards
