Hi

I am considering buying a Naim dac-v1 nap100 setup. I would be grateful for any speakers suggestions.

I have a relatively small living room and I aim to find stand mount speakers or slim stand-mounters.

I am considering PMC twenty 22's or 23's

Welcome to the forum.

You say relatively small living room, how small?

When you say or slim stand-mounters did you mean floorstanders?

The PMC's can be used quite close to a rear wall but are quite a deep speaker (inches-wise) and do like a little bit of free space.

I'd second the suggestion of the Neat's and you might also consider Spendor's little boxes (SA-1's) or indeed the Harbeth P3ESR, these would be my personal choice.

If floorstanders, again Neat's or Totem Arrows.

Try to audition before buying if you can.

Thank you for your reply.

Yes, I meant slim floor standers. Sorry about the spelling.

I would say the room is about 15-17 square meters with a low ceiling at 210 cm.
I live in Trondheim, Norway, where I can only really audition speakers from B&W, Dali, System Audio, Dynaudio, JBL and Klipsch. For Neat, Linn, Naim or PMC I will have to go to Oslo. (which I tried this weekend, only they were sold out on Naim DAC-V1/NAP 100, so I had to audition the Superuniti instead. The PMC shop was closed due to water damages after heavy rain...)
