my possible new cinema system any advice???

Hi been looking at buying a whole new system so went to my local audio shop and they surgested this. for my 6k price bugget.

just would like to know what people think really, as i have been looking around and there so many to choice from.

did see the new KEF Q series that look nice.

aaaarrrrhhh what to get.

If I had a £6K budget and room then I would certainly be looking into getting a projector. I would probably spend no more than a third of the budget on this and then the rest on the remaining kit.

could you not go for the Monitor Audio RX package? And having read the reviews on the Sony 570, i think i would have a look at this aswell or the marantz

I'd either look at the Marantz SR7005 with one of the new KEF Q series packages, or the Pioneer SCLX83 with a Monitor Audio RX package.

As already mentioned, with a system like that, it'd be a shame not to get a projector. You can pick up a Panasonic PTAE4000 for around £1800, or an Epson TW3500 for around £1300. Having a 7 or 8 foot screen brings the picture up to the scale that the audio of these systems is capable of.

Thanks for the advice.

I would love to get a projector but my livin room is only 15ft by about 12ft.

i,m now starting to think that the system being surgested to me by the sales man may not be the right one for the size of the room.

I,m really looking for something in a 6k price tag but this has to include everything from cables to cabnets etc,but looking for something with the floorstanding speakers that sounds good and going to last.

any ideas.
