Yes its strange we sell the Nord One Hypex amps to a different audience. The main customers are the guys heavilly into DIY audio, who have heard the Hypex NC400 amps. Then we have guys who have some very high end kit generally £5K+ amps and high end speakers. Over on Audio shark they are playing a game of which high amps they have replaced or compared the Nord's too. We dont seem to get to many who want some high end sound and have to go off the beaten path to get it at a sensible price. We also make and sell as many Nords in a month as we supply Abrahamsen amps in a year.

I will be needing a single mono hypex with 250w into 8ohm.

What will be the best solution to best match the tone of the abrahamsen(as its close to the hegel in sound quality)

Hi Andrew best do this offline, but a Nord One UP NC500MB with Sonic Imagery 994 Op Amp I have had quite a few people remark how simular tonely they sound.
