Move over Logitech!!!

It does look sexy ! - but does it look practical ? It could do with some extra tactile buttons on the fascia I reckon. 🙂

Besides there being no coloured buttons on it, there isn't even a four way direction pad on it !

I'll wait. Sooner or later someone will make a universal remote that's so big you'll have to get up from your chair and walk to the corner where it's installed to use it.

On the opposite end of the price scale, I bought this a week ago:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/One-All-URC8305-Kameleon-Control/dp/B000KGG5DU/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1264935189&sr=8-1

It's absolutely brilliant. I tried one of the early incarnations of the Kameleon series and it was woefull. This has the macro feature that you find on the expensive Harmony remotes:e.g, one press of an allocated button to turn on TV, Sky box and AV amp together. Combined with a really easy set up. The 'learning' feature is a doddle, too. Any buttons that aren't recognised as standard, can be programmed in just by a couple of button presses and pointing the original remote at the Kameleon.

All this is great. Best of all, though: IT'S BLOODY 17 QUID!

Get one, before they push the price back up!
