Monitor Audio GSW-12 v BK Elec XLS200 MkII Subwoofer

As the subject title says really.

Would the Monitor Audio GSW-12 subwoofer be a real noticeable upgrade on the BK Elec XLS200 Mk II subwoofer?

The room size is 7m x 3.6m.

I had a MJ Acoustics reference 100 mk 2 which has similar dimensions and spec but not the power of the BK Elec XLS200 Mk II.

I have the GSW-12 and found the difference was tremendous music sounded much better with the base notes stopping and starting with much much more precision.

The MJ sounded boxy in comparison and ran out of puff when asked to play at reference levels hitting the end stop far too easily, this has never happened with the GSW-12.

I would go for it…..
