With the Mk2 iPads hitting the shelves on the 25th of March, the dropped price on the Mk1 version makes them look very attractive now!

As I will run most of my music from a NAS or MacBook. I think the 16GB model will be fine. But does anyone know how much space iOS takes up?

IOS takes up approx. 500mb, but the 16GB is in marketing gigabytes, not actual gigabytes. On a 16GB device you can expect around 14.5GB free space.

Cheers Paul, I think that should be fine, even for holidays when I'll move a couple of films and CDs onto it.
