Can anyone recommend any DJing/mixing software which can mix songs together automatically?

I want to create a dance mix for a party using only the upbeats tracks from Caravan Palace. I don't have a mixer (or DJing skills) to mix them together myself and wondered if there is any software which will automatically do the mixing for me?

you could try Mixxx as it's free 🙂 http://www.mixxx.org/

just depends on how much you want to spend/how technical you want to get...

Virtual DJ Pro full edition does automix but it's expensive. http://www.virtualdj.com/buy/index.html

I use Serato for DJing but that doesn't have an automix and you would need a DJ controller.

I'm sure there are free ones out there, it's just a case of googling. I think it was John that recommended using the auto fade feature in itunes or Media Monkey. I think most music players have that feature. It's a crude way of doing it but at least there will be no gaps.

My DJ friend says traktor or serato if you're serious, Virtual DJ Home if you're not. Just had a quick look at virtual DJ home version (free for non commercial use) and it has automatic beatmatching, so that sounds like a way to go.

Thanks JD. Much appreciated. 🙂

Thanks. I'll check it out. 🙂

Some of the Caravan Palace tracks can probably be mixed using a simple crossfade but others are likely to need some sort of beat matching. I only half know what I'm on about though so I'll just have a play around with it and see what I can come up with.
