Marantz SR-6003, Denon AVR-2809 or Yamaha RX-V1900

Hi all,

Has anyone heard the above receivers and how the compare?

I'm looking to upgrade from a Sony STR-DB940.

I'm leaning towards the marantz.

I'll want to run the B&W 685 Theatre pack.

Any help would be most appreciated.

Full review of the Denon AVR-2809 here, Yamaha RX-V1900 will be tested in our December issue (on sale November 30th), the Marantz we haven't heard I'm afraid.

In terms of power will the B&W 685 theatre pack be suited to all these receivers;

Yamaha RX-V1900 130 W x 7 channels into 8 ohms
Denon AVR-2809 115 W x 7 channel into 8 ohms
Marantz SR-6003 100 W x 7 channel into 8 ohms
