Marantz MCR510 Problem

I'm not having a good day with technology. Bought a M-CR510 this afternoon and got it going within about 10 minutes of getting it home. Internet Radio and AirPlay from iPad and Desktop PC both working fine.

Then it did a firmware update, which took about 30 minutes and seemed to complete OK. After the update all appeared fine until I switched from Radio to AirPlay from my PC. Got an error "Unknown Error" from selecting the CR510 as the output device and no sound from the Marantz. Worse than that, although the AirPlay connection hasn't worked it sticks in AirPlay mode so won't play anything else.

Any ideas before I take it back to the shop?
